How long have you been a funeral arranger?
I began my journey in the funeral industry in early 2023. Prior to that, I held leadership roles within the health and disability sector. This provided me with wonderful opportunities to connect with individuals and families from various cultures and communities.

My passion is serving people; the work of a funeral director is meaningful, and it offers the opportunity to help create lasting memories for families by coordinating a final celebration of life for their loved ones.

What do you like about being a funeral arranger?
I love that we have the opportunity to connect with various cultures, religions, and communities. I feel deeply honoured that we are entrusted with such an important time in people's lives.

As a Location Manager, I thoroughly enjoy the ability to connect with our local community through various community engagements and events.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time, you’ll find me with family. Like most Maori and Pacific Islander families, my family is not small. My husband and I have 6 children. I am one of 6 and my husband is one of 14. We have over 60 nieces and nephews, so family for us is one of our most precious assets.

Weekends are often noisy, busy and full of laughter. We love the beach, sports and all things outdoor. Our church is also very important to us.

Our focus is to treat every family that walks through our door the same way we would our own. We strike a great balance between professionalism and heartfelt care.
