About Jacqui

Jacqui commenced nursing over 40 years ago and has always been involved in palliative care whether a clinician in the field, undertaking research, facilitating palliative care courses, leading community projects and palliative care teams and working in a state-wide palliative telehealth registered nursing role.

In 2018 she commenced her business, End of Life Transitions where she provides End of Life Doula and Funeral Celebrant services locally and internationally. As one of Australia’s most active Death Café Facilitators and Australia’s first licensed Willow EOL Educator™ (EOL = end of life) she believes that improving death literacy is part of building a Compassionate Community. Living in Queensland, Australia, Jacqui is passionate about engaging with her local community to make them more comfortable in engaging in talking about death and dying; and who and what matters most.
